Wedding Preview Event 2012

We have just come out of the post Wedding Preview Event coma. The sheer excitement and effort it takes to pull off an event of this magnitude is mind boggling, and boy, was it phenomenal. Ahem…if I may say so myself.

When we were referred by our friend Jenny to fill an opening for a planner, we were psyched. This show concept has the potential to make traditional (may I say impersonal?) wedding conventions a thing of the past, to be thrown into the proverbial dust bin along with meringue-y dresses and cheap gold candelabras.

I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves, but not without a big thank you to our fellow carny teammates. What an outstanding group of artists! Vendor credits can found be below the photos. If you use any of these photos please do not crop or edit Anna’s lovely work. Enjoy!

the little things

Details, details. Oh, how they make a difference! One of our favorite hobbies is paper crafting and it has been really fun to incorporate in our weddings! Personalized touches like place cards, table numbers, menus, programs, banners and signage make a big impression on your guests. We spent many hours this past week crafting our handmade creations for our wedding yesterday and wanted to share with you! What a lovely day it was!
