Those in the know, know Pinterest is the best thing since sliced bread. How many of you out there have spent countless hours pinning, repinning, and searching random tags lines like “thigh high tights”, “vintage wedding” or “brooch wedding bouquets”? Or cursed the heavens that Pinterest wasn’t around when you planned your wedding? Yeah… me too.
Yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting at Cafe Ladro in Bothell with a lovely bride to be and her dynamic mother to talk shop. Not only did we discover how much fun it is going to be to coordinate the wedding (charmingly simple vintage wedding by the beach) but that these tasteful, well-informed ladies had never heard of Pinterest.com. This post is for all you out there that would benefit from the fore mentioned delightfully addictive virtual idea boards.
Not only can you find awesome pictures that others have shared, you can follow your friends’ boards, and “pin” images from anywhere on the web to your own boards. Pinterest has streamlined so much of the idea/inspiration process for creation projects, events, shopping, etc. I would even go so far as to say it has revolutionized the process of wedding planning. Tediously cutting out pictures from 20 different bridal magazines to paste into a wedding scrapbook has become a thing of the past.
So “pin” away my friends!
